AN ACT to pay the Trustees of Rock Academy, of Cecil

WHEREAS. The Trustees of Rock Academy, of Cecil county, :
have agreed to admit free of tuition to said academy three
students from said county; therefore,

Preamble.
|
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Comptroller of the Treasury be and he is.
hereby authorized and required to draw his warrant upon the
Treasurer of this State in favor of the Trustees of Rock
Academy, of Cecil county, for the sum of two hundred dollars
per annum for two years, out of the proceeds of the State
school tax distributed to Cecil county.

SEC. 2. And be, it enacted, That this act take effect from
the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 357.
AN ACT to authorize and direct the County Commissioners
of St. Mary's County, to exempt certain new manufacturing
plants from taxation.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That for the encouragement of the growth
development of manufactories and manufacturing industries
in St. Marys county, upon the application, as hereinafter pro-
vided, of any individual, firm or corporation actually engaged
