FRANK BROWN, ESQUIRE, GOVERNOR,
persons found doing business without a license, to be com-
mitted or held to bail for appearance at the succeeding term
of the Circuit Court for the county or Criminal Court of Bal-
timore, to answer the charge of selling goods without a license.

28. For every such license there shall be paid the following
rates, to wit : For every license to travel on foot, the sum of
one hundred dollars; to travel with a horse or other beast of
burden and wagon or other vehicle, the sum of one hundred
and fifty dollars; with two horses or other beasts of burden
and wagon or other vehicle, the sum of two hundred dollars.

34. For every apprehension and conviction of a hawker or
peddler, the sheriff, constable or any other person apprehend-
ing shall be entitled to receive the sum of ten dollars, to be re-
covered as part of the costs.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 335.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments, Section
112 of Article 6 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Caroline County," subtitle "Election District."

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That section 112 of article 6 of the Code of Public
Local Laws, title "Caroline County," sub-title "Election Dis-
trict," be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with
amendments, so as to read as follows :

112. The fourth election district of Caroline county shall
have but one polling place or place of holding election, which
said polling place shall be at Preston, in said district.
