Exceptions.
|
or benevolent description, paying exclusively sick, funeral or
death benefits to members, their family or dependents, and
not operated with a view to profit, nor shall any such organi-
zation be required to make any report under this or any other
sections of the insurance laws; and provided further, that no
society, lodge or body of any secret or fraternal society, or
association of employees of any particular trade, firm or cor-
poration, organized in this State, paying only sick benefits not
exceeding $250 in the aggregate, to any one person in any
one year, or a funeral benefit to those dependent on a member
not exceeding three hundred and fifty dollars, shall be required
to make any report thereof under this article or under any
other article of the insurance laws; provided further, that
certificates issued by the Improved and Independent Orders
of B'nai B'rith may be made payable to charitable institutions
as now provided in its by-laws.

Repeal.
|
SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That all acts and parts
of acts inconsistent with this act be and the same are hereby
|
|
|
Effective.
|
repealed to the extent of such inconsistency; and that this act
take effect from and after the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 296.
AN ACT to repeal certain sections of Article twenty of the
Code of Public Local Laws, title "Somerset County," sub-
title "Crisfield," and to re-enact the same with amendments,
as well as certain sub-sections.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,

That sections fifty-six, fifty-seven, fifty-nine, sixty-one, sixty-
two, sixty-three, sixty-four, sixty-five, sixty-eight, seventy-one,
seventy-four, seventy-five, seventy six, ninety-one, and sub-
sections thereto, of article twenty of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title "Somerset County," sub-title "Crisfield," be and are

New sections.

hereby repealed and re-enacted, and sub-sections eighty-two A
(82 A), one hundred A (100 A) and one hundred B (100 B), be
and are re-enacted so as to read, respectively, as follows :
56. The male citizens of said town, over twenty-one years
of age, who have resided therein twelve months preceding any
election, and all male citizens over twenty-one years of age
