SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 277.

AN ACT to add three additional sections to Article 3 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Baltimore
County," sub-title "Fish," said sections to be numbered
107 A, and 107 B, and 107C, and to follow immediately after
Section 107 of said article.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That three additional sections be and the same are
hereby added to article 3 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, title "Baltimore County," sub-title "Fish," to be
numbered sections 107 A, 107B and 107 C, and to follow imme-
diately after section 107 of said article.

107 A. It shall not be lawful for any person to haul a seine

or to fish with gill-nets, fikes, traps or set nets of any kind or
description in any of the rivers, creeks, coves, branches or
waters within the limits of or adjacent or contiguous to Balti-
more county, without first obtaining the permission in writing
thereto from the owners or occupiers of the banks or shores in
Baltimore county, of such rivers, creeks, coves, branches or
waters aforesaid, in front or opposite to which any such seine,
gill-net, fike, trap or set net of any kind or description is or
may be placed.

nets, fikes, trap or set nets of any kind or description within
one mile on either side of a line drawn from the northeastern-
most extremity or point of Miller's island to the southeaetern-
