a fine of not less than five dollars nor more than twenty dollars
and costs, at the discretion of the justice of the peace before
whom the same may be tried, and to stand committed until costs
and tine are paid, all tines imposed under this section to be paid
over to the Secretary and Treasurer of the School Board of
Dorchester county, and by him applied to the school fund of
said county.

CHAPTER 24.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments, Section
eighty-one (81) of Article "five" (5) of the Code of Public
Local Laws, title "Calvert County," sub-title "Fish."

Repeal.

SECTION 1. B e it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That section eighty-one (81) of article "tive" (5) of the
Code of Public Local Laws, title ''Calvert County," sub- title
"Fish," be and the same is hereby" repealed and re-enacted
with amendments, so as to read as follows: .

81. No person whatsoever shall haul a seine or any other
instrument in the waters of Battle creek or Hunting creek,
for the purpose of catching fish for sale, or for any other
purpose than home consumption.

Effective.
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 25.
AN ACT to repeal Sections one hundred and nineteen, one
hundred and twenty-two, and one hundred and twenty-three,
of Article eight of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Cecil County," sub-title "County Treasurer," and to re-
enact the same with amendments, providing for the election
of a Treasurer of said county in the year eighteen hundred
and ninety-five, and his appointment in the meantime.
