however, as not to prevent the free and convenient travel over
such road by any citizens; and this corporation is further
authorized to acquire such rights of way in fee of lands as they
may find needful or advantageous to the construction and oper-
ation of such railway line or lines, by purchase, gift, grant or
condemnation in the manner provided by law for acquisition of
private property for public use; provided, however, that this
corporation shall first obtain the consent to erect so much of
its railway as is located upon any of the public roads or high-
ways of Baltimore county from the County Commissioners of
said county; and provided further, that it shall first obtain the
consent to erect so much of its railways as is located upon any
of the streets of Baltimore city from the Mayor and City
Council of said city.

SEC. 10. And be it enacted, That this corporation, subject,
however, to the constitutional right of amendment and repeal,
shall have perpetual continuance.

SEC. 11. And be it further enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

Approved April 6th, 1894.

AN ACT to incorporate the Clifton Savings Bank of Balti-
more City.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That William Bahlke, John F. Stuntz, Albin
Seidel, Ferdinand Schilling, William Wise, John W. Banks,
George B. Foulkes, William W. Roberts, John F. Kline,
George M. Donelsou, Geo. W. Bahlke, John F. Otto, Louis
C. Hauselmann, John C. Krautz and John Hannibal, and such
persons as shall hereafter become directors thereof, shall be
and they are hereby constituted a body corporate and politic,

and by that name shall have perpetual succession and be capable
in law to hold and dispose of property, to sue and may be
sued in courts of law, equity and in any other place; to
