LAWS OF MARYLAND.

CHAPTER 18.

AN ACT to empower the County Commissioners of Charles
County, in their discretion, to levy a sum of money for the
building of a school house for white children in the vicinity
of "Loves Store," ninth election district of Charles County.

May build a
school house.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Charles county
be and they are hereby empowered and directed, in their dis-
cretion, to levy for the building of a school house for white
children, in the vicinity of "Loves Store," ninth election dis-
trict of Charles county, such a sum of money as in the opinion
of said commissioners may be sufficient for the purpose here-
inbefore specified.

Where to be
built.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the School Board of
Charles county build the school house provided for in this act
in such vicinity of "Loves Store" as they may agree.

Effective.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted. That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Approved February 9th, 1894.


CHAPTER 19.

AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of Talbot
County to borrow money for the purpose of building and
furnishing a school house in Easton for the accommodation
of the County High and Manual Training School, to issue
bonds therefor, and to levy a tax for the payrnents of the
same.

May issue

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Talbot county
be and they are hereby authorized and empowered, in their
discretion, to issue, on or before the first day of August in the
present year, eighteen hundred and ninety-four, bonds to an
amount not less than ten thousand dollars, nor more than
fifteen thousand dollars, in sums not less than one hundred
dollars nor more than five hundred dollars, each to be signed
by the president of the board of said County Commissiouers,
