CHAPTER 216.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments, Section
sixteen of Chapter three hundred and thirty-four of the
Acts passed at the January session, eighteen hundred and
ninety, entitled "An Act to regulate the sale and the grant-
ing of licenses for the sale of spirituous and fermented
liquors in Baltimore County," as amended by Chapter one
hundred and seventy-seven of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland, session of eighteen hundred and
ninety-two.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That section sixteen of chapter three hundred and
thirty-four of the acts passed at the January session, 1890,
entitled "An Act to regulate the sale of and the granting of
licenses for the sale of spirituous and fermented liquors in
Baltimore County," as amended by chapter one hundred and
seventy-seven of the acts of eighteen hundred and ninety-two,
be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to
read as follows :

Repeal.

SEC. 16. And be it enacted, That one-fourth of all moneys
paid to the said clerk for license fees under the provisions of
this act, shall be held by him for the use of the State, and paid
over and accounted for as money received for license has been
heretofore accounted for, and the remainder thereof shall be
paid by him to the Treasurer of Baltimore county, for
county uses.

Disposition of
license fees.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Approved April 3d, 1894.

Effective.

CHAPTER 217.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact Section 47 of Article 43 of
the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Health," sub-
title "Practitioners of Medicine," and to add additional
sections thereto, to be designated as Sections 53, 54, 55, 56,
57, 58, 59 and 60, of said article.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
