Circuit Court for Frederick county, Maryland, to issue a
license or licenses to any person or persons to sell spirituous or
fermented liquors or lager beer at any place nearer than three
miles in every direction from Mt. Carrnel Church, situated in
election district number nine, in Frederick county, Maryland,
unless for medical purposes, and then only upon the prescrip-
tion of a regular physician.

Where intox-
icating
liquors shall
not be sold.

SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from
the date of its passage.

Approved April 3d, 1894.

CHAPTER 193.

AN ACT to add an additional section to the Code of Public
Local Laws, Article 3, title " Baltimore County," to be
known as Section 257 A.


SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That article 3 of the Code of Public Local Laws,
title " Baltimore County," be amended by adding a new sec-
tion thereto, to be known as section 257 A, to read as follows:

New section.

Any person who shall trespass upon the lands of another
within the limits of Baltimore county, shall be guilty of a
misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof before a justice of
the peace of said county, shall be fined not less than five nor
more than twenty dollars; provided, that the owner or pos-
sessor of the land trespassed upon, shall, by conspicuous posters
placed upon said land prior to said trespass, have warned all
persons from entering upon said lands without his permission.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
