original writ not executed at the two succeeding return days
after the writ is first issued, the same shall be permitted to lie
dormant, renewable only on the written order of the plaintiff
or his attorney of record to such future return day as the said
plaintiff or his attorney may elect, and upon a further return
of not executed, said writ shall be again permitted to lie,
renewable only as aforesaid, the said plaintiff or his attorney
having the right to renew said writ to as many subsequent
return days, under the same mode of procedure as may be.

CHAPTER 181.

AN ACT to authorize, direct and require the County Com-
missioners of Baltimore County to grade, kerb, pave or
macadamize Clinton street, in the 12th district of Baltimore
County, between Eastern avenue and Eleventh avenue.

Clinton street

or macada-
mized.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Baltimore
county be and they are hereby directed and required to grade,
kerb, pave or macadamize the road or way now called Clinton
street, in the twelfth district of said county, between Eastern
avenue and Eleventh avenue.

To appoint
examiners.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That after a reasonable
time after the passage of this act, the County Commissioners
of Baltimore county shall appoint one, or more, examiner, as
they may consider necessary, who shall proceed according to
the law and usages as laid down in cases when application is
made to the County Commssioners diiectly.

Cost, how to
be borne.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That two-thirds of the
entire costs to grade, kerb, pave, macadamize the above said
road or way now called Clinton street, shall be borne by the
land and property owners fronting on said street, and one-third
of the entire costs by the County Commissioners of Baltimore
county. Provided, however, that the County Commissioners
shall not commence the work on said Clinton street until all
