LAWS OF MARYLAND.

Society ;" the bequest of one thousand dollars to the "Home
for Fallen Women in the City of Baltimore ;" the bequest of
two thousand dollars to the "First Congregational Church of
Baltimore," in trust for the benefit of the " Congregational
Church or Society of Frostburg, Maryland ;" the bequest of
two thousand dollars to the "First Congregational Church of
Baltimore," in trust for the benefit of the "Second Congrega-
tional Church of Baltimore;" the bequest of one thousand
dollars to the "Maryland Historical Society ;" the bequest of
thirty thousand dollars to the " First Congregational Church
of Baltimore."

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted., That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

Approved March 31st, 1894.

CHAPTER 169.

AN ACT to require the clerk of the Circuit Court for Charles
County to procure a new book for a docket, and to transcribe
therein all the docket entries of cases in equity on the old
equity dockets of the said Circuit Court for said county,
properly indexed, from the year 1811 to the year 1885,
inclusive.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the clerk of the Circuit Court for Charles
county be and he is hereby authorized and directed to procure
a well bound book for an equity docket for the said Circuit
Court for said county, to be designated as equity docket No. 1,
and to transcribe therein all the docket entries of cases in
equity on the old equity docket of the said Circuit Court from
the year 1811 to the year 1885, inclusive, and to properly
index the same.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the clerk of the
said court for the said county shall receive for the purchase of
the said book, procured for the purpose aforesaid, the actual
costs thereof, and for his services in transcribing and indexing,
as aforesaid, he shall receive the same fees as are new allowed
by law for transcribing names and indexing records, the
