CHAPTER 168.

AN ACT to give and grant the sanction and consent of the
General Assembly of Maryland, to sundry bequests of
Joseph Henry Stickney, late of Baltimore city, deceased, for
the use of the several religious and charitable organizations
therein mentioned.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly, That
the sanction and consent of the General Assembly of Mary-
land be and it is hereby granted and given to the following
bequests of Joseph Henry Stickney, late of Baltimore city,
deceased : The bequest of two thousand dollars to the " Mary-
land Bible Society;" the bequest of five hundred dollars to
the " Maryland Tract Society; '' the bequest of four thousand
dollars to the " Maryland Sunday School Union ;" the bequest
of two thousand dollars to the " Boys' Home Society of Balti-
more; " the bequest of two thousand dollars to the "Aged
Women's and Men's Homes; " the bequest of two thousand
dollars to the " Home of the Friendless of Baltimore; " the
bequest of one thousand dollars to "The Baltimore Associa-
tion for the Improvement of the Condition of the Poor; " the
bequest of three thousand dollars to the " Young Men's Chris-
tian Association of Baltimore; " the bequest of one thousand
dollars to the " Nursery and Child's Hospital of Baltimore
City; " the bequest of one thousand dollars to the " Union
Protestant Infirmary of Baltimore; " the bequest of one
thousand dollars to the " Hospital for Women of Maryland;"
the bequest of one thousand dollars to the " Baltimore Orphan
Asylum; " the bequest of one thousand dollars to the " Canton
Congregational Church of Baltimore County ;" the bequest of
one thousand dollars to the " Institute for Colored Blind and
Deaf Mutes of Baltimore City; " the bequest of one thousand
dollars to the " Eastern Dispensary of Baltimore; " the
bequest of one thousand dollars to the " Charity Organization
Society of Baltimore; " the bequest of four thousand dollars
to the " Friendly Inn," of Baltimore; the bequest of one
thousand dollars to the " Eye, Ear and Throat Charity Hospital
in the City of Baltimore; " the bequest of two thousand
dollars to the " Young Women's Christian Association in the
City of Baltimore; " the bequest of one thousand dollars to
the " Baltimore Female City Mission; " the bequest of two
thousand dollars to the "Baltimore Home fof Incurables, " the
bequest of one thousand dollars to the "American Peace
