CHAPTER 166.
AN ACT to repeal Section seventy-four of Article thirteen of
the Code of Public Local Laws of the State of Maryland,
title " Harford County," sub-title " Crier," and to re-enact
the same with amendments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That section seventy-four of article thirteen of the
Code of Public Local Laws of the State of Maryland, title
" Harford County," sub-title " Crier," be and the same is
hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments, so as to read
as follows :

Repeal.

74. The crier of the Circuit Court shall be allowed the sum
of three dollars and fifty cents for each day he shall attend
court, and the same shall be levied and paid in the same man-
ner and upon the game evidence as the allowance to bailiffs,
and said allowance shall be in lieu of his fees, and shall be the
entire compensation for his duties.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 167.
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 2 of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title "Anne Arundel County," sub-title
"City of Annapolis," under the new sub-title "Bills of
Exchange and Promissory Notes," to be numbered Section
74 A, and to follow Section 74.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by -the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a new section be and the same is hereby
added to article 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Anne Arundel County," sub-title "City of Annapolis," under
the new sub-title "Bills of Exchange and Promissory Notes,"
to follow section 74, and be numbered section 74 A, and to
read as follows :
