dred and ninety-three, the same per diem and mileage as was
paid to the electors of President and Vice-President of the
United States, their officers and attendants, who met in the
city of Annapolis on the fourteenth day of January, eighteen
hundred and eighty-nine, as now appears upon the books in the
office of the Comptroller.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 10.
AN ACT to extend the time during which passenger cars may
be heated by stoves.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the date fixed by the act of March, 1888,
chapter four hundred and seven, after which it should be no
longer lawful for any steam railroad company to heat passenger
cars with stoves, be and the same is hereby extended to the
first day of July, eighteen hundred and ninety-four.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments, Section
three hundred and twenty-one of Article ten of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, titled, "Dorchester County,"
to regulate the pay of witnesses.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That section three hundred and twenty-one of
article ten, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
titled "Dorchester County," regulating the pay of witnesses,
be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amend-
ments, as follows :
