CHAPTER 135.

AN ACT to amend an Act of the General Assembly of
Maryland, passed at the January session, eighteen hundred
and sixty- four, entitled "An Act to incorporate the Trustees of
the Samuel Ready Asylum for Female Orphans," so that the
corporate title of the said corporation shall hereafter be the
Trustees of the Samuel Ready School for Female Orphans.

changed.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the first section of the act passed at the
January session of the General Assembly of Maryland,
eighteen hundred and sixty-four, chapter one hundred and
two, entitled "An act to incorporate the trustees of the Samuel
Ready Asylum for Female Orphans," be and the same is hereby
amended by striking from the said section, the word asylum
and inserting in place thereof the word school, so that the
corporate title, name and style of said corporation shall here-
after be the Trustees of the Samuel Ready School for Female
Orphans.

Effective.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 136.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
twenty-six and twenty-seven of Article sixty-five of the
Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Militia," sub-title
"Maryland National Guard."

Repeal.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That sections twenty-six and twenty-seven of arti-
cle sixty of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Militia,"
sub-title "Maryland National Guard," and chapter 573 of the
act of 1892 of the General Assembly of Maryland, be and
the same are hereby repealed, and the said sections twenty-
six and twenty-seven are hereby re-enacted so as to read as
follows :
