as amended by chapter 35 of the Acts of 1890, be and the
same is hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to read as follows :

5. No person shall kill, trap, catch or take, any partridge or
rabbit in Baltimore county until November the eighth, 1895;
any pheasant or gray squirrel until September first, 1895; or
any woodcock until June fifteenth, 1895; and from and after
such dates, no person shall kill, trap, catch or take any par-
tridge or rabbit between the twenty-fourth day of December
and the eighth day of November, exclusive; any pheasant
between the first day of January and the first day of Septem-
ber, exclusive; any gray squirrel between the first day of
November and the first day of September, exclusive, or any
woodcock between the first day of February and the fifteenth
day of June, exclusive.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted. That sections 6 and 7 of said
article be repealed and re-enacted so as to read as follows :

Repeal.

6. Any person, whether owner or tenant of property, or
trespasser, or license thereon, violating any of the provisions
of the preceding section, prohibiting gaming, &c., before the
dates specified in the year 1895. shall be deemed guilty of a
misdemeanor, and on conviction thereof before any justice of
the peace of said county, or other tribunal before whom the
trial for such offence may come, shall pay a fine of not less
than ten nor more than twenty-five dollars for each and every
bird, rabbit or gray squirrel so illegally taken or killed, one-
half of said fine to be paid to the informer, and the remainder
as directed in the succeeding section; and on failure to pay
said fine shall be committed to the house of correction or the
county jail for a period of not less than ten nor more than
thirty days for each offence; and after the season of eighteen
hundred and ninety-five, any person violating any of the pro-
visions of the preceding section, fixing the seasons for the
killing of the game mentioned therein, shall pay a fine of not
less than two nor more than five dollars for each and every
bird, rabbit or gray squirrel so illegally taken or killed, fine to
go as aforesaid, and on failure to pay such fine, shall be com-
mitted to the county jail for a period of not less than five nor
more than ten days for each offence; and any having the right
to the possession, ownership or supervision of property, who
shall give any other person or persons permission to shoot the
aforementioned game on the lands and premises so held by
them, contrary to the provisions of this . article, shall be held
