SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 121.
AN ACT to refund to James W. Ivens a sum of money
erroneously paid by him into the State Treasury.

|
Preamble.
|
WHEREAS, It appears by the books of the treasury depart-
ment that James W. Ivens, collector of taxes for the third
district of Kent county, has paid into the treasury of the State
of Maryland the sum of twenty-seven dollars and eleven cents,
in excess of the amount due by him for State taxes for the
year eighteen hundred and eighty-eight and eighteen hundred
and eighty-nine; and whereas, the treasury officers of the State
have recommended the passage of a law refunding the said
sum of money to said collector; therefore,

Appropria-
tion.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the comptroller of the treasury is hereby
authorized and directed to draw his warrant upon the treasury
in favor of James W. Ivens, in payment of the sum of twenty-
seven dollars and eleven cents, being the amount so overpaid
into the treasury.

CHAPTER 122.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 5
of Article 3 of the Public Local Laws, title " Baltimore
County," sub-title " Birds and Game," as amended by Chap-
ter 35 of the Acts of 1890, and to repeal and re-enact with
amendments, sections 6 and 7 of said article.
