SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That all acts or parts
of acts, inconsistent with this act, be and the same are hereby
repealed.

effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 86.
AN ACT to repeal and re enact with amendments Sections
653A, 653 E and 653 r. of Article four, Code of Public
Local Laws, title "City of Baltimore," sub-title "Liquors and
Intoxicating Drinks," as enacted by Chapter three hundred
and forty-three of the Acts of Assembly passed at January
session, 1890, and also to add three new sections to said
Article four, Code of Public Local Laws, title and sub-title
aforesaid, to come in after section 653 u, and to be designated
as sections 653 v, 653 w and 653 x, respectively, regulating
the sale of spirituous and fermented liquors by distillers,
brewers, wholesale dealers and jobbers and bottlers, and the
granting of licenses to such wholesale dealers and jobbers
and bottlers; the licensing of hotel or ordinary keepers, and
the assigning or transferring of licenses to sell such liquors
at retail from one person or place to another person or place.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That sections 653 A, 653 E and 653 L of article four
of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "City of Baltimore,"
sub-title "Liquors and Intoxicating Drinks," as enacted by
chapter three hundred and forty-three of the acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January session,
eighteen hundred and ninety, be and the same are hereby

follows; and that the three following new sections be added to
said article four, Code of Public Local Laws, title "City of
Baltimore," sub-title "Liquor and Intoxicating Drinks," to
