When not
liable tor
loss.
|
SEC. 18. And be it further enacted, That no liability shall
attach to this company where damage arises from fire happen-
ing in consequence of any invasion, insurrection, riot or civil
commotion, or by any military or usurped power.
|
|
|
May revoke
policy.
|
SEC. 19. And be it further enacted, That the said company
shall have full power and authority to receive or revoke any
policy of insurance by them issued, whenever they shall deem
it for the interest of said company to do so.
|
|
|
Amendment
or repeal.
|
SEC. 20. And be it further enacted, That the Legislature
reserves the right to alter, amend or repeal this act of incorpo-
ration at pleasure.
|
|
|
Effective.
|
SEC. 21. And be it further enacted, That this act shall not
go into operation so as to authorize the execution of any policy
or contract of insurance, until there shall be entered upon the
books thereof property of the standard value of thirty thous-
and dollars, but shall, in all other respects, take effect from the
date of its passage.

CHAPTER 665.
AN ACT to repeal Section one hundred and ninety -four of
Article six of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Caro-
line County," sub-title "Liquors and Intoxicating Drinks,"
and re-enact the same with amendments, and to add two
additional sections to said sub-title of said Article, to come
in after Section one hundred and ninety-four, and to be
designated as Sections one hundred and ninety-four A and
one hundred and ninety-four B.

Repeal.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted ly the General Assembly of
Maryland, That section one hundred and ninety-four of
article six of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Caroline
County," sub-title "Liquors and Intoxicating Drinks," be and
the same is hereby repealed and re enacted with amendments,

New sections
|
and that two additional sections be added to said sub-title of
said article, to come in after section one hundred and ninety-
four, and to be designated as sections one hundred and ninety-
four A and one hundred and ninety-four B.
