32. To the Board of Trustees of the Saint Mary's Female

Seminary, the sum of five hundred dollars for the fiscal year
eighteen hundred and ninety-five, and the like sum of five
hundred dollars for the fiscal year eighteen hundred and ninety-
six.

33. To the Oblate Sisters of Providence, the sum of five
hundred dollars for the fiscal year eighteen hundred and
ninety-five, and the like sum of five hundred dollars for the
fiscal year eighteen hundred and ninety-six.

34. To the Country Home for Children of Baltimore City,
the sum of one thousand dollars for the fiscal year eighteen
hundred and ninety-five, and the like sum of one thousand dol-
lars for the fiscal year eighteen hundred and ninety-six.

35. To the Home and Infirmary of Western Maryland, at
Cumberland, the sum of five thousand dollars for the fiscal
year eighteen hundred and ninety-five, and the like sum of
five thousand dollars for the fiscal year eighteen hundred and
ninety-six.

36. To meet the deficiency in the fuel and light account for
the current year, the sum of fifteen hundred dollars, or so
much thereof as may be necessary; to Benjamin F. Bennett,
for work done on State House, one hundred and seventy-eight
dollars and ninety -two cents; to Hall, Headington & Co., for
matting and mats furnished for hallways and committee rooms
of the State House, the sum of one hundred and thirty six dol-
lars and two cents; to Benjamin F. Bennett, for cost of work
done upon roof of State House, also metal flashings for gutters,
the sum of one hundred and sixty-one dollars and seventeen
cents.

37. To the Association of Mexican Veterans, to aid in erect-
ing a monument to the Maryland soldiers who fell in defense
of their country in Mexico, three thousand dollars.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the Treasurer of the State

Appropria-
tion to
schools and
charitable
institutions.


shall, upon the warrant of the Comptroller of the Treasury,
pay the said sums of money herein appropriated for the objects
and purposes hereinbefore specified, to or upon the order of
the person or persons or bodies corporate entitled to receive
the same.
