INSPECTIONS AND INSURANCE.
For the salaries of two inspectors of steam boilers in the

State
Library

city of Baltimore, fifteen hundred dollars each, three thousand
dollars; for the salary of mine inspector in Allegany and
Garrett counties, fifteen hundred dollars; for the payment of
the annual ground rent on the tobacco warehouse lots in Balti-
more city, four hundred and forty-eight dollars and eleven
cents; for the rent of the boxes in some safe deposit company,
for the use of the Treasury Department, one hundred dollars,
or eo much thereof as may be necessary; for insurance, changes
and repairs in the apparatus for lighting and heating, on Agri-
cultural College, Chemical Laboratory, Gymnasium Building
and Rossburg Building, used for experiment station, and the
equipments in said buildings, three thousand dollars, or so
much thereof as may be necessary; for insurance and rent of
instantaneous fire-alarm boxes in State tobacco warehouses,
five hundred dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary;
for insurance and rent of instantaneous fire-alarm boxes in
State Normal School, three hundred dollars, or so much
thereof as may be necessary.

For the salaries of the two commissioners of fisheries, fif-

teen hundred dollars each, three thousand dollars; and to
defray the expenses of the commissioners of fisheries, as
per section eighty-nine of article thirty-nine, of the Code of
Public General Laws, title " Fish and Fisheries," sub-title
"Commissioners of Fisheries," seventy-five hundred dollars, or
so much thereof as, in the opinion of the Governor, may be
necessary; no part of the said appropriation to be expended
in the killing of eels in the Wicomico river or in other waters
of the State of Maryland.
