CHAPTER 646.

AN ACT to repeal Sections eighty-six, eighty-seven, eighty-
eight, eighty-nine and ninety of Article seven of the Code
of Public Local Laws, title "Carroll County," sub-title
"Manchester."

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That sections eighty-six, eighty-seven, eighty-eight,
eighty-nine and ninety of article seven of the Code of Public
Local Laws, title "Carroll County," sub-title "Manchester" be
and the same are hereby repealed.

Repeal

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

Approved April 6th, 1894.

CHAPTER 647.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 2
of Article 87 of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Sheriffs," sub-title "Oath of Office and Bond," so far as
the same applies to Calvert County.

Effective.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That section 2 of article 87 of the Code of Public
General Laws, title "Sheriffs" sub title "Oath of Office and
Bond," so far as said section applies to Calvert county, be and
the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments
so as to read as follows :

Repeal.

2. He shall also, before he acts as such, give bond to the
State of Maryland in the penalty of twenty-five thousand
dollars, with security to be approved by two judges of the
Orphans' Court or the judge of the Circuit Court of his
county, if he be elected for a county, or any two judges of
the Orphans' Court of Baltimore city, or the judge of the
Superior Court of Baltimore city, if he be elected for said city,
with condition that he shall well and faithfully execute the
office of sheriff of —— county or the city of Baltimore, in
all things appertaining thereto, and shall well and truly per-
form all the duties required by law to be by him performed ;
