be as prescribed in Sections 367 to 372, inclusive, and Sec-
tion 374 of this article; and upon the passage by the court
of a final order of forfeiture the road shall vest in the County
Commissioners as hereinbefore provided.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from date of its passage.

CHAPTER 504.
AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money for the painting of
the portraits of Matthew Tilghman and Governor Robert
Bowie, to be placed in the State House at Annapolis in
the State of Maryland.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

land, That the sum of six hundred dollars ($600) be and
the same is hereby appropriated to provide for the payment
for portraits of Matthew Tilghman and Governor Robert
Bowie, the portraits to be painted under the supervision of
the board of public works of the State of Maryland, and
placed in the Maryland State House.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That upon the completion of
the work of painting such portraits by the person selected

by the board of public works and to the satisfaction of that
body, the said board of works shall issue its certificate to
the Comptroller that the said work has been completed by
the person so selected, whereupon the Comptroller shall
issue his warrant upon the treasurer in favor of the person
so named for the said sum of six hundred dollars ($600.)
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 505.
AN ACT to declare the sanction of the General Assembly
of Maryland to the bequest of one thousand dollars to
the Church of Christ in Hagerstown, Maryland, contained
in the last will and testament of Sarah C. Eavey, bearing
date March 25, 1904, and recorded in Liber J, folios 540,
etc., in the office of the Register of Wills of Washington
County.
