SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Dorchester county

at least four times in two newspapers of said county for
sealed proposals to build or construct said bridge, and shall
award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder, who
shall be required to give bond and security to be approved
by said County Commissioners, and said County Commis-
sioners are hereby fully authorized and directed to open and
build the necessary roads leading from said bridge.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the said board of County

empowered, in their discretion, to issue bonds for such sums
as may be necessary to construct said bridge, the rate of
interest on said bonds not to exceed four per cent, per
annum; and the coupons for interest on said bonds shall be
receivable by the collector for taxes for said county in pay-
ment of county taxes, and said bonds shall be exempt from
county taxation, and to be due and payable at such time and
in such sums as said County Commissioners may designate.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to regulate the salary of the clerk of the County
Treasurer of Talbot County.
