their successors are duly elected and qualified; and three of
said trustees shall be elected to serve for the period of two
years from the day of their election or until their successors
are duly elected and qualified; and three of said trustees
shall be elected to serve for the period of three years from
the day of their election or until their successors are duly
elected and qualified; and the manner of said election shall
be determined by said annual meeting; and after said first
election, the said annual district meeting of the German
Baptist Brethren of the Eastern District of Maryland shall
at each annual meeting thereof elect three trustees to serve
for the period of three years or until their successors are
duly elected and qualified; and the manner of these elections
and the qualifications of said trustees shall be prescribed by
the by-laws of the said corporations. Whenever a vacancy
arises among said trustees by reason of death, resignation,

disqualification or otherwise, the vacancy so caused shall be
filled by election at the next annual district meeting of said
German Baptist Brethren of the Eastern District of Mary-
land; and the trustees so elected shall serve for the time yet
remaining unexpired of the trustee so creating such vacancy.

SEC. 12. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 80.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
133 A of Chapter 235 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland, passed in 1898, for Queen Anne's county.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

Anne's county, be and the same is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, so as to read as follows :

133 A. At the general election of delegates to the General

November, eighteen hundred and ninety-nine, and at such
election every four years thereafter, there shall be elected a
county treasurer for Queen Anne's county, by the qualified
