and Maria D. Fulton, his wife, dated October 28, 1896, and
recorded among the land records of Baltimore city, in Liber
R. O., No. 1646, folio 249, etc., and in another deed from
Charles Herzog and Josephine Herzog, his wife, dated Jan-
uary 16, 1901, and recorded among the aforesaid land
records in Liber R. O., No. 1884, folio 78, etc., and to the
holding of said lots by said body corporate, with full power
to sell, lease, mortgage or in any way dispose of the same.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 448.
AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of Prince
George's County to pay to T. Van Clagett, Esq., the sum
of fifty dollars ($50.00) for his services as acting State's
Attorney, appointed by the Court for the prosecution of
Edward McNey, Jr., and of Edward McNey, Sr., and of
John J. McNey and Lucy Davis, Nos. 7, 8, 9, 10 and
19 criminal trials, at the October Term of the Circuit
Court for Prince George's County, in the year nineteen
hundred and four; the said T. Van, Clagett having under
said appointment, during the absence on account of sick-
ness of M. Hampton Magruder, the State's Attorney for
said County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Prince George's
