CHAPTER 419.
AN ACT to provide payment for the printing of the Annual
Report and Official Blanks, and for the expense of testing
scales of the Mine Inspector, as required by Chapter 124
of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1902.
WHEREAS, In Chapter 124 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of 1902 it was provided that the State should

furnish its mine inspector with "blanks for collecting certain
information in the public interest; that he should have
printed and distribute for the information of the people one
thousand copies of his annual report to the Governor, cover-
ing the period to the first day of May in each year; and
that he should procure all things necessary to test scales at
mines; therefore,
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

land, That the Comptroller be and he is hereby authorized and
directed to draw his warrants upon the treasurer in the sum
of three hundred and fifty-one dollars and twenty-five cents,
in favor of Charles T. Clayton, to pay for the printing of
blanks for the use of the mine inspector from May 1,
1904, to February 10, 1906, and for printing the annual
report of the mine inspector to May 1, 1905; and in the
sum of thirty-six dollars and forty cents in favor of Thomas
Murphy for expenses incurred in testing the accuracy of
scales at mines, as required by Chapter 124 of the Acts of
the General Assembly of Maryland of 1902.
SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect from
the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 420,
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 4, entitled "City
of Baltimore," of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, to come in after Section 20, and to be known as
Section 20 A.
