CHAPTER 414.
AN ACT to prohibit the sale of spirituous or fermented
liquors or lager beer in any place in Garrett County within
three and one-half miles of Mount Zion Methodist Episco-
pal Church, South, situate in Election District No. 1, in
Garrett County, Maryland.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That it shall not be lawful for the clerk of the Circuit

Court of Garrett county, Maryland, to issue license to any
person or persons to sell spirituous or fermented liquors or
lager beer at any place in Garrett county within three and
one-half miles of Mount Zion Methodist Episcopal Church,
South, in Election District No. 1, in Garrett county, Mary-
land.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the 1st day of May, 1906.

CHAPTER 415.
AN ACT to refund to I. G. Brooks, of Talbot County, a sum
of money heretofore paid by him to the State Treasury.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Comptroller of the Treasury of the State of

Maryland be and he is hereby authorized and directed to
issue his warrant on the Treasurer of the State for the sum
of $150 in favor of Irvin G. Brooks, of Talbot county, to
reimburse him for money paid by him on a bail bond for
Hayes Bailey, indicted in the Circuit Court of Talbot county
under the local option law of said county, the case having
been stetted and settled.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to amend Article 4 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title " City of Baltimore," as the same
was enacted by Chapter 123 of the Acts of the General.
