the said station, of the gift and bequest of the sum of four
hundred dollars given and bequeathed to the said the trus-
tees of the Methodist Episcopal Church in the Broadway
Station, of Baltimore city, to the use of the Sunday School
of the said church in the said station, by William H. Shock,
late of the city of Washington, in the District of Columbia,
deceased, by codicil to his last will and testament, bearing
date January 9, 1905, and duly probated in and recorded
among the records of the probate court of said city of
Washington.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 393.
AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of Anne
Arundel County to purchase and hold land for a Potter's
field.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted, That the County Commissioners
of Anne Arundel county be and they are hereby authorized
to purchase a lot of ground near Annapolis, to be used as a
burial ground for paupers who have to be buried at the
expense of the county; provided, the cost thereof shall not
exceed five hundred dollars.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That after said purchase the
property so purchased shall vest in said county as absolutely
as in a private individual, and that it shall have like power
of disposing of the same.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 394.
AN ACT to amend the Charter of the Emmitsburg Rail-
road Company, and to authorize it to use electricity on its
railroad and to alter, change and extend its line of rail-
road in Frederick County, and to build branches thereto,
and to construct and operate telegraph and telephone lines
along its roadway.
