SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the bonds hereby author-
ized to be issued shall be exempt from all State, county and
municipal taxation, and that the coupons for the interest
thereon shall be receivable by the county Treasurer of Talbot
county in -payment of county taxes.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That the proceeds from the

sale of the said bonds, or so much thereof as may be
necessary for the purposes hereinafter mentioned, shall be
paid over, as soon as realized by the County Commissioners
of Talbot county to the Board of County School Commis-
sioners of Talbot county, who shall apply the same to the
payment for the building and furnishing of a school house
at St. Michaels, in the county aforesaid, erected for the
accommodation of the St. Michaels Primary School, and
for no other purpose, and the balance of the proceeds from
the sale of said bonds, if any, shall be retained by the
Commissioners of Talbot county for the use of the general
school fund and the payment of the expenses incident to
this bond issue.

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 74.

AN ACT to authorize the Mayor and Common Council of
Hyattsville to establish, acquire or construct and maintain
and operate an electric lighting plant, including all
necessary buildings, machinery, wires, poles, conduits and
instrumentalities for lighting the town of Hyattsville, and
to sell any surplus power or light, and issue and sell its
bonds for said purpose, to the amount of not exceeding
twelve thousand dollars ($1 2,000.00) par value.
