CHAP. 381

CHAPTER 381.
AN ACT to encourage the killing of Hawks and Owls in
Dorchester County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Dorchester county

Levy a sum of
money.

are hereby authorized and directed to levy a sum of money
that in their judgment they shall deem necessary at their
annual levy in 1906, and each year thereafter, as a surplus
to pay a bounty for the killing of hawks and owls in Dor-
chester county.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That any person who shall kill

any hawk or owl, small or screech owls and fish hawks
excepted, shall be paid out of the said surplus fund the sum
of twenty-five cents for each hawk, and a like sum for each
owl upon presenting to the County Commissioners the scalp
of the hawks and owls killed, and making affidavit before
the clerk to said County Commissioners that the same was
killed in Dorchester county subsequent to the passage of
this Act by the person who presented the same.
SEC. 3. And be it farther enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
Approved April 3, 1906.

CHAPTER 382.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments, Sections
184 A and 184s of Article 1 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of the State of Maryland, entitled "Allegany
County," sub-title "Midland," as the same were enacted
by Chapter 356 of the Acts of 1902, and Chapter 648 of
the Acts of 1904, and re-enacting the same with amend-
ments, to be known as Sections 184A1, 184A 2, 184 A 3,
184A4, 184A5, 184A6, 184A7, 184A8, 184A9, 184A10,
184 A 11, 184 A 12, 184 A13, 184 A 14, 184 A 15, 184A16,
184 A17 and 184 A 18.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 184 A and 184 B of Article 1 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of the State of Maryland, title
"Allegany County," sub-title "Midland," as the same were
