viz: Charles C. Biser, collector Frederick county for year
1902, sixty-five dollars and sixty-five cents; Chas. C. Biser,
collector Frederick county for year 1903, two hundred and
thirty-four dollars and fifty-two cents; Alex. Ramsburg, col-
lector Frederick county for year 1900, twenty-nine dollars
and thirty-five cents; Alex. Ramsburg, collector Frederick
county for year 1901, fifty-two dollars and two cents; James
W. White, collector Garrett county for year 1902, seven dol-
lars and twenty cents; James W. White, collector Garrett
county for year 1903, four dollars and forty-two cents; Robt.
F. Maddox, collector fourth district Somerset county for year
1903, six dollars and fifty-seven cents; H. Laird Todd,
collector Wicomico county for year 1902, eight dollars and
eighty -nine cents.

CHAPTER 340.
AN ACT to refund to the Exchange and Savings Bank of
Berlin, Maryland, money erroneously paid by it into the
State Treasury.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Comptroller of the Treasury be and he is

Issued.

hereby authorized and directed to issue his warrants upon
the Treasury of the State in favor of the Exchange and
Savings Bank of Berlin, Maryland, for ninety dollars and
eighty-three cents for money erroneously paid into the State
Treasury, as follows: The sum of forty-four dollars and
sixty-six cents on the 3d day of September, in the year
1904, on account of the State franchise tax on one-sixteenth
of one per cent, on seventy-five thousand two hundred and
fifteen dollars, being the total amount of deposits held by
said bank on January 1, 1904; and the sum of forty-six
dollars and seventeen cents on the 1st day of September, in
the year 1905, on account of the State franchise tax on one-
sixteenth of one per cent, on seventy-seven thousand seven
hundred and fifty-six dollars, being the total amount of
deposits held by said bank on January 1, 1905, making a
total of ninety dollars and eighty-three cents so erroneously
paid, as aforesaid; the said Exchange and Savings Bank of
Berlin, Maryland, coming under the exemption as provided
