CHAPTER 321.

AN ACT to authorize and direct the Comptroller of the
Treasury and the County Commissioners of Carroll County
to refund to the L. H. Dielman Drug Company a sum of
money for taxes erroneously paid by them.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

land, That the Comptroller of the Treasury is hereby author-
ized and directed to draw his warrant in favor of the L. H.
Dielman Drug Company for the sum of twelve and 75/100
dollars, the amount of State taxes erroneously paid by them
for the years 1901, 1902 and 1903, proper vouchers of the
duplicate payments having been presented to the treasury
officials.
SEC. 2. And be it farther enacted, That the County Commis-

sioners of Carroll county are hereby authorized and directed
to pay to the said L. H. Dielman Drug Company the sum
of thirty-nine and 53/100 dollars, being the amount of taxes
for countv purposes erroneously paid by them for the years
1901, 1902 and 1903.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 322.

AN ACT to regulate joint fences in Vienna Election District,
or District No. 3, of Dorchester County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

land, That whenever joint fences have been or may be estab-
lished in Vienna Election District, or District No. 3, of Dor-
chester county, for the mutual benefit or advantage of differ-
ent owners or possessors of adjoining land, it shall be the
duty of each party to keep up in good repair his just and
respective portion thereof, in the manner following, that is
to say: All plank fences shall be at least four feet high, the
first plank shall be three inches from the ground, the space
between the bottom plank and the second plank shall be four
inches, between the second and third plank five inches, and
between the upper plank and the one below it twelve inches.
All wire fences shall have at least twenty inches of woven
