SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the County Commissioners
of Queen Anne's county to be elected on the first Tuesday
after the first Monday in November, 1907, and those there-
after elected or appointed to said office shall meet as often
as necessary from the first day of January in each year until
the first day of January next succeeding, and shall meet at
least once a week during the above stated time, and they
shall receive as compensation such per diem and mileage as
now is allowed by law; provided, that no such County Com-
missioner shall receive in any year as such compensation a
sum exceeding four hundred dollars; and in addition to the
duties now required of County Commissioners, the commis-
sioners elected from each district shall personally supervise
the work of the road workers or supervisors in the district
from which he shall be elected or appointed, and see that
the work upon roads and bridges is done in conformity with
the instructions of the County Commissioners, and from time
to time shall make written reports to said County Commis-
sioners as to the progress and character of the work done
upon the roads and bridges; and for performing this super-
visory duty over the roads and bridges he shall receive the
same compensation as for attending a meeting of the board,
but the whole compensation of each commissioner for his
entire duty as commissioner shall not exceed the sum of four
hundred dollars as above ascertained.

Time of meet-
Ing.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That all Acts or parts of Acts
inconsistent with the provisions of this Act be and the same
are hereby repealed.
SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 222, 223, 224, 225, 226, 227,
228, 229, 230, 231, 232, 233, 234, 235, 236, 237, 238,
239, 240 and 241 of Article 22 of the Code of Public
Laws of Maryland, title " Washington County," sub-title
" Hancock," and also to repeal Chapters 496 and 691 of
the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland for the
year 1904, and to re-enact the same with amendments.
