or imprisonment, or both, in the discretion of the court, and
upon the second conviction the license of the person so
convicted shall be forfeited, ipso facto, by conviction, for the
year for which it was issued.
Section 253 o. Nothing herein contained shall be construed

liquor or beer within one mile of the northeast corner of the
District of Columbia, or within the corporate limits of the
town of Hyattsville, or within one mile of Camp Springs, or
within Vansville District, or within one mile of Chillum Hall
of said county nor to interfere with or effect the present laws
relating to the sale of liquors or beer in the town of "Laurel
and Upper Marlboro."

Be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect from the date
of its passage.

CHAPTER 297.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 6 and 7 of Chapter 195 of the
Acts of 1904, entitled "An Act to authorize the County
Commissioners of Howard County to issue bonds to pro-
cure money for the repairing of roads, bridges and culverts
in Howard County, and to levy a tax for the payment of the
same, and to re-enact the same with amendments.
