SEC. 16. And be it enacted, That there is hereby appropri-
ated the sum of thirty-five hundred dollars ($3,500) annually

for the fiscal years 1907 and 1908 for carrying out the pro-
visions of this Act, and for the payment of salaries and
expenses herein provided for.

SEC. 17. And be it enacted, That all Acts or parts of Acts

Appropriation

inconsistent with the provisions of this Act are hereby
repealed.

SEC. 18. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 295.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
136 of Article 15 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Kent County," sub-title "Galena," as enacted by Chap-
ter 285 of the Acts passed at the January Session of the
General Assembly of Maryland, 1904.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 136 of Article 15 of the Code of Public

Repeal.

Local Laws, title "Kent County," sub-title "Galena," as
enacted by Chapter 285 of the Acts of Assembly, 1904,
be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with
amendments, so as to read as follows: The County Commis-
sioners of Kent county shall annually, on or before the first
day of January, 1907, and every year thereafter, pay over to
the commissioners of Galena that proportion of the entire
county levy for roads and bridges which the total property
assessed within the limits of Galena bears to the whole
amount of assessed property of Kent county, so that the
commissioners of Galena may receive and disburse the
amount levied upon the property within the limits of Galena
for roads and bridges by said County Commissioners of
Kent county.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
