WHEREAS, The said John B. McMahan is now incapacitated
for general work, and is past seventy years of age and with-
out income or means of earning a livelihood; therefore,
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the State Board of Education be and they are

granted.

hereby authorized to place the name of John B. McMahan,
a citizen of Talbot county, on the "Retired List," provided
for in Section 53 A of Chapter 584 of the Acts of 1904, and
that the Comptroller of the Treasury pay to said John B.
McMahan the pension provided for in said section Of said
Act.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 251.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections 2,
3 and 4 of Chapter 189 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland, passed at the January Session of the year
1898, entitled " An Act to divide the Twelfth Election Dis-
trict of Baltimore County into three election districts, to
be known as the Twelfth Election District of Baltimore
County, the Fourteenth Election District of Baltimore
County, the Fifteenth Election District of Baltimore
County, and to constitute said division into Election Dis-
tricts of Baltimore County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 2, 3 and 4 of Chapter 189 of the Acts of

re-enact.

the General Assembly, passed at the January Session of the
year 1898, entitled "An Act to divide the Twelfth Election
District of Baltimore county into three election districts,"
to be known as the Twelfth Election District of Baltimore
