at the time in question in the vicinity where such shooting

ing, such fact shall be deemed prima facie evidence of his
having violated the provisions of this section.

SEC. 8. And be it enacted, That it shall be unlawful for

SEC. 9. And be it enacted, That every person who shall
desire to hunt game as prescribed in Section 2 of this Act,

shall, before so doing, procure from the clerk of the Circuit
Court for Somerset County a license, as follows: Non-
residents of the State shall before being allowed to
hunt game under the provisions of this Act, pay a
license fee of ten dollars, with fifty cents to the clerk for
issuing the same; residents of the State, but non-residents of
the county shall pay a license fee of five dollars, with twenty-
five cents to the clerk for issuing the same; and residents of
the county except they be land holders, whether owners,
agents or tenants hunting on their own premises, shall pay
a license fee of one dollar, with twenty -five cents to the clerk

Penalty:

for issuing the same. Each offender, for violation of this
section, shall pay a penalty of twenty-five dollars or be
imprisoned not less than ten or more than thirty days, or
both in the discretion of the court or justice of the peace
before whom trial may be had. All money arising from the
granting of licenses aforesaid, whether now in the hands of
the clerk of the Circuit Court of Somerset county from the
operation of any Act heretofore passed, or which may here-
after come to his hands from the operation of this Act, shall
be distributed by him among the several election districts in
said county in such proportion as license fees have been
collected therefrom, to be used for the purpose of protecting
and propagating game therein, upon the recommendation of
the game association of Somerset county.
