SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 37 and 56 H of Article 22 of the Code

CHAP. 112

of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title " Washington
County," sub-title "Boonsboro," as repealed and amended
and re-enacted by Chapter 219 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland of the Acts of 1904, be and the
same are hereby repealed and re-enacted, so as to read as
follows :
Section 37. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

land, That the taxable limits of the town of Boonsboro are
declared to be as follows: Beginning at the east margin of
the turnpike leading from Boonsboro to Middletown, and at
a point twelve perches northward from the intersection of
said turnpike with the public road leading to the old foundry,
and running thence north sixty-three and one-half degrees
east thirty perches, north twenty-two degrees west fifty-four
perches, north twenty-two degrees east sixty-six perches,
north six and one-half degrees east forty-eight perches,
north seventy-two degrees west sixty perches, south seven-
teen degrees west thirty perches, south sixty-five degrees
west ten perches, north twenty-two degrees west seventy-
four and one-half perches, south sixty-eight degrees west
seventy-five perches, south twenty-two degrees east seventy-
four and one-half perches, south sixty-eight degrees west
ninety-one and one-half perches, south twenty-two degrees,
east sixty-nine and one-half perches, passing on the east
side of John L. Nicodemus' house north sixty-eight degrees
east seventy-six perches, to the northeast corner of the
cemetery there bounding on the cemetery south twenty-two
degrees east thirty -five perches, north sixty -eight degrees
east twenty perches; then leaving the cemetery south
twenty-two degrees east thirty-nine perches, south thirty-
seven degrees east eighteen perches, north sixty-three and
one-half degrees east thirty-seven perches, to the place of
beginning.

Section 56 H. The bailiff appointed for the enforcement of

razable limits

and good order shall have all the powers of constables; and
any person resisting a bailiff in the discharge of his duty
shall be liable, upon conviction, to punishment in the same
measure and to the same extent as if he had resisted a con-
stable, and any bailiff so appointed who shall be guilty of
