CHAP. 819

New section
added.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land That an additional section be and is hereby added to
Article 11 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
title "Frederick County," sub-title "Orphans' Court," to
come after Section 395, and to be designated Section 395 A,
and to read as follows :

Section 395 A. Be it enacted, That the judges of the

Orphans' Court of Frederick county, Maryland, who reside
more than one mile from the court shall be paid mileage at
the rate of five cents a mile for every mile necessarily traveled
in going and returning from the court ; provided, that mileage
shall not be paid said judges oftener than once in every one
week ; and provided, further, that said mileage shall be paid
to said judges by the County Commissioners of Frederick
county, Maryland, at the end of each and every quarter, after
the qualification of said judges.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from January 1, 1908.

CHAPTER 820.

AN ACT to Incorporate the Planters and Traders' Bank of
Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

land, That John W. McCaffrey, Claude A. Murphy, Nathaniel
D. Sollers, T. Albert Hulme and Read A. McCaffrey, all
of Baltimore city, in the State of Maryland, and the sub-
scribers to the capital stock of the corporation hereby
created, and their successors and assigns, be and they are
hereby created a body corporate, by the name of the "Plant-
ers and Traders' Bank of Maryland," and by that name shall
have perpetual succession, and shall be competent to sue and
be sued in any court of law or equity whatever ; to have and
use a common seal, and to alter the same at pleasure ; to
make and adopt by-laws, rules and regulations for the gov-
ernment of said body corporate and its officers, provided
the same shall not conflict with the constitution and laws of
this State or of the United States ; to elect directors, and to
do, execute and enforce all and singular such acts, contracts,
