CHAPTER 807.
AN ACT to provide for the appointment of Commissioners
for the Revision of the Laws relating to the subjects of
the Care and Detention of Minors, Juvenile Courts, Proba-
tion Systems and Detention Homes.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That within thirty days after the passage of this Act

the Governor shall appoint a board of five commissioners,
to serve without pay, for the revision of the laws relating to
the subjects of the care and detention of minors, juvenile
courts, probation systems and detention homes, who shall
hold office for a term not exceeding two years, and shall
report to the General Assembly of Maryland of 1908 such
amendments and revisions of said laws as they may deem
expedient and proper.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
Approved April 5, 1906.

CHAPTER 808.
AN ACT to refund t6 James H. Stigers, Executor of
Elmar C. Thomas, late of Washington County, deceased,
fifty-five dollars and ninety -nine cents collateral inheritance
tax, erroneously paid to the Register of Wills of Wash-
ington County.

WHEREAS, By the last will and testament of Elmar C. Thomas,
late of Washington county, deceased, a bequest was made to

the convention of the Protestant Episcopal Church of the
Diocese of Maryland, in trust, of the proceeds of a note of
eighteen hundred dollars ($1,800) given to said deceased by
Daniel B. Henderson, of Kansas City, Missouri, which note
was reduced to a judgment by James H. Stigers, executor of
said deceased, August 3, 1903, for the sum of twenty-two
hundred and thirty-nine dollars and sixty cents ($2,239.60),
and which judgment was by said executor entered to the use
of the said convention April 28, 1904, upon which judgment
a collateral tax of two and one-half per cent. (2 1/2%), amount-
ing to the sum of fifty-five dollars and ninety-nine cents
($55.99) was exacted from and paid by the said executor to
the register of wills of Washington county; and
