CHAPTER 729.

AN ACT to enlarge the powers of the " Emergency Hospital
of Easton," Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the "Emergency Hospital of Easton," Maryland,

a corporation duly incorporated under the laws of this State,
shall, in addition to the powers granted in Article 23 of the
Code of Public General Laws, have power to increase the
number of its board of directors from twelve to twenty-one,
and that J. Overton Dickinson, William R. Martin, Mary W.
Seth, Bell H. Tilghman, Bessie Royce Spring, Mary Donnell
Lloyd, Frances W. Lowe, George C. Moore, Elmer H. Pud-
ley, Richard S. Dodson, Joseph B. Harrington, Mary Bart-
lett Dixon, Anna Powell Kemp, Henry A. Nichols, Mary S.
E. Caulk, Mary O. Wharton, Caroline E. Wilson, Joseph B.
Seth, Martha S. Gallup, Carrie H. Wooters and O. Harper
Benson shall constitute the board of directors who will
manage the concerns of said corporation for the first year.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 730.

AN ACT to provide for the definite and final establishment
of the boundary line between Allegany and Garrett
Counties, in order to bring under the assessment law
certain untaxed lands in said counties.
WHEREAS, By Chapter 212 of the Acts of the General

Board of
directors to
be increased


Assembly of 1872 provision was made for the formation and
establishment, of Garrett county out of the lands within the
then corporate limits of Allegany county; and
WHEREAS, Provision was by said Act also made for a
survey of the boundary lines of said counties, as established
by said Act between certain terminal points therein named,
and that return of said survey and the plats of said lines
should be reported to and filed with the Governor, the
County Commissioners' and the clerk of the Circuit Court
of Allegany county under certain provisions in said Act con-
tained, but the said survey was not made between the ter-
