the city of Baltimore, or within the counties of Baltimore,
Anne Arundel and Howard, or any interest, franchise, ease-
ment, right or privilege therein, which may be required, for
the purpose of extending said park system as aforesaid, or
any part or parts thereof; and the procedure in case of con-
demnation as respects Baltimore city shall be such as may
now or at any time hereafter may be provided for by any
lawful ordinance or ordinances of the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore, adopted pursuant to the powers con-
ferred upon it by Section 6 of Article 4, entitled " City of Bal-
timore," of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title
"General Powers," sub-title "Condemnation of Property,"
for the condemnation of any land or property or interest
therein situate within the city of Baltimore, or such as may be
provided for the very purpose by any lawful ordinance or ordi-
nances of the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, which said
ordinance or ordinances the said Mayor and City Council of
Baltimore is hereby fully authorized to adopt; provided,

provision is made therein for reasonable notice to the owner
or owners and for appeals to the Baltimore City Court and
to the Court of Appeals by any person interested, including
the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, from the decision
of any commissioners or other persons appointed to value-
any such land or interest, franchise, easement, right or privi-
lege therein.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That in developing and improving

"City of Baltimore," of the Code of Public Local Laws of

tion of the said loan, shall be taken out of the receipts from,
the park tax on the street railway companies of Baltimore
city, and not from the proceeds of the general tax levy.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect,
from the date of its passage.
