CHAP. 724

Duties of
supervisors
of elections.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the supervisors of election
of Montgomery county shall cause to be made, before the
1st day of July in the year 1907, a complete alphabetical
list of the qualified voters in each election district of Mont-
gomery county in the order of their registration; and in
those districts in which there is more than one voting pre-
cinct, said list shall be made out according to the precincts ;
said list shall be made out in books specially provided for
the purpose, and upon the left hand page of which shall
appear the names of the voters, their color, date of registra-
tion and age at date of last registration, in appropriate
columns, and the right hand page shall be ruled in double
vertical columns, sufficient in number for at least ten primary
elections, so that, as persons vote in the primary elections of
the respective parties in any year, the letter "V" can be
properly-entered in the column of the party in whose primary
election each person votes; and it shall be the duty of said
supervisors of election, before the 1st day of July in each
alternate year, counting from the year 1907, to cause such
primary election registration list to be carefully posted and
corrected so as to conform to the registration books of the
several election districts used at the general election held in
said county.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That the primary elections held

clerks in each election district of the county, who shall be
selected by the governing bodies of said parties respectively, ;
provided, however, that one judge in each district shall be
selected from the officers of registration of said district; and
the said officer of registration selected shall be the return
judge of the election at which he officiates.

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That the ballots to be used at
