local law for Talbot county hereby repealed before this Act
takes effect; and every such offense shall be dealt with as if
said sections had not been repealed; and no case or proceed-
ing pending shall abate by reason of such appeal.
SEC. 4. And be it further enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That this Act shall take effect from the date of
its passage.

CHAPTER 717.
AN ACT to add an additional section to Article 23 of the
Code of Public General Laws of r Maryland, title "Corpo-
rations, sub-title "Railroad Companies," said additional
section to be known as Section 300A, and to follow Section
300 of the said Article.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

with any other motive power or system.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
