require it, shall visit the county, town or city, where such
fire or fires occurred or where it is necessary to examine
building as to proper fire escapes or exits therefrom.
Section 6. And be it enacted, That the fire marshal or

deputy fire marshal shall at the request of the board of fire
commissioners of the city of Baltimore, or the County Com-
missioners of any county, or the municipal authorities of
any incorporated city or town in this State, make to them a
written report of the examination made by him or them
regarding any fire happening within their respective,
jurisdiction.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 710.
AN ACT to extend the time prescribed by the Act of the
General Assembly of Maryland of 1904, Chapter 116, in
the removal by the Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washing-
ton Railroad Company of its then existing bridge over the
Susquehanna river.

WHEREAS, By the 4th section of Chapter 116 of the Acts
of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1904, the Philadel-

phia, Baltimore and Washington Railroad Company is
required to remove its then existing bridge over the Susque-
hanna river, together with certain tracks connected therewith,
within one year from the day on which its new bridge shall
have been put in operation; and
WHEREAS, Certain citizens of Havre de Grace and Perry-
ville have recently had under consideration the question
whether some arrangement can be made for the conversion
of said old railroad bridge into a bridge for foot passengers,
and vehicular travel, but have not yet had time to determine
said question, and said railroad company is willing that the
time for the removal of said bridge may be extended beyond
the next session of the General Assembly of Maryland, in
order that in the meantime said question may be definitely
determined, and if determined in favor of the conversion of
said bridge into the character of bridge above mentioned,
that appropriate legislation may be had to accomplish the
object; therefore,
