Item: I give and bequeath the sum of twenty-five dollars
to the trustees of Mount Zion Cemetery Company and their

CHAP. 700

successors, the interest of said sum to be applied to keeping
up my lot in said cemetery.

To the bequest contained in the last will and testament of
A. Catharine Prather, of Washington county, Maryland,
deceased, said will being recorded in the office of the register
of wills of said county in wills liber J., folio 396, and said
bequest being as follows :

61. To St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Clear Spring, Mary-
land, twenty dollars, to be used in keeping my burial lot and
Maggie Boyd's grave, found in said graveyard, from neglect,
said church to attend to the same.

62. To St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Clear Spring,
Maryland, the sum of one hundred dollars for use of general
repairs.

63. To the bequest contained in the last will and testa-
ment of Mary E. Shank, deceased, recorded in wills liber J.,
folio 383, in the office of the register of wills for Washington
county, as follows: After the payment of all my just debts
and funeral expenses and the cost of the tombstones, I
hereby give, grant, devise and bequeath all the rest and
residue of my estate, real, personal and mixed and whereso-
ever the same may be situated, to the trustees of Stouffers
Menonite Church and their successors in office, to be con-
verted into money by them and the proceeds thereof to be
by them invested in safe securities, the interest on the
same to be used by the said trustees toward the payment
of the expenses of keeping the said church clean, and
in good repair, and toward the heating of the same, so
far as the same will extend, but with the provision that if
at any time the trustees of the said church, then in office,
should deem it advisable and for the best interests of the
said church to expend any of the principal for the use and
benefit of the said church, they shall have the power so to
do in their discretion.

To the following bequests contained in the last will and
testament of Hiram C. Stouffer, deceased, recorded in wills
liber " J," folio 433, in the office of the register of wills
for Washington county.
