(4) All persons, whether they are persons who travel about

or otherwise, not being resident physicians or druggists of
said town who dispose of medicines, remedies, nostrums or
patent medicine or who dispense medical advice on the
streets or in other places of the town; provided, that nothing
herein shall prevent the sale of medicine under an ordinary
traders' license; when the sales are made from a wagon,
carriage or other vehicle a license for it may also be required.
(5) All retail dealers in goods or articles of merchandise.
(6) All persons who keep livery stables for the hire of horses,
carriages or teams, or who keep feed stables. (7) All pro-
prietors of hotels, and parties who keep restaurants, eating
houses and ice cream saloons, and all venders of ice cream
who have no town traders' license; this to apply to places
where intoxicating liquors are not sold. (8) All venders or
dealers in wood and coal who pay no town license; this does
not apply to growers of wood, or occasional sales of wood
brought from the country, to be sold from cart or wagon.
(9) All express companies, and all life and fire insurance
companies which have offices and agents in Pocomoke City,
the agent to be bound to pay for the license, and the Mayor
and Council to be entitled to compel the agent to take out
license by fines and forfeitures; the same agent may act for fire
and life insurance companies on one license. (10) All solici-
tors of life insurance companies, who go from house to house
or from place to place in the town in the service of any
company. (11) The proprietors of circuses, either for show-
ing or parading in the town. (12) The proprietors or pro-
moters of any theatrical performance, troop or company, and
the proprietors of any exhibition or any public entertain-
ment who charges an admission fee; these may be required
to procure a license for each performance, exhibition or
entertainment. (13) The owner or promoter of every merry-
go-round or flying horses. (14) All keepers or owners of
bowling alleys, bowling saloons, billiard saloons, bagatelle
saloons and all pool tables and saloons, whether kept or
used by a corporation, firm or individual. (15) All persons
who keep or own any dray, cart or wagon or other vehicle
for transportation in the said town of goods, merchandise or
other personal chattels and effects, for hire, or for which
compensation is charged. (16) The owner or manager of
