STATE OF MARYLAND.

CHAP. 632

various persons and corporations in the State of Maryland,
to and for the use and benefit of sundry ministerial per-
sons, religious corporations, denominations or sects, and to
certain charitable institutions hereinafter named.

Various gifts,
bequests,
etc.,
sanctioned.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the sanction and consent of the General
Assembly of Maryland be and the same is hereby declared,
given and granted to the following gifts, bequests, devises,
grants, sales, leases, conveyances and deeds to and from
certain persons and bodies corporate, to and for the use of
certain ministerial persons, religious corporations, orders,
denominations or sects and to certain charitable institutions as
herein set forth:
First. To the bequest of Mary H. Baggs, late of Talbot
county, Maryland, deceased, made by her last will and testa-
ment, dated May 23, 1900, and duly recorded in the register of
wills' office in said county, in words following, to wit: "It is
my will and desire that my executor shall sell all my property,
real and personal, at such times and on such terms as the
Orphans' Court of Talbot County may direct, and the pro-
ceeds arising from the sale of the dwelling where I now reside,
less the expenses of the sale and the commissions to my
executor, shall be paid over to the trustees of the Methodist
Episcopal Church, for the use or uses of said church (or to
any one lawfully qualified to receive the same) in St. Michael's,
known as Sardis Chapel."
Second. To the legacy of five thousand dollars bequeathed
by Elizabeth Emma Bose, late of Baltimore city, deceased, to
the Vestry of St. John's (F. E. ) Parish, in Baltimore and
Harford counties.
Third. To the legacy of two thousand dollars, bequeathed
by said Elizabeth Emma Bose to the Yestry of Emanuel (P.
E. ) Church of Baltimore city, the will of said Elizabeth Emma
Bose being of record among the wills records in the Orphans'
Court for Baltimore City.
Fourth. To the bequest contained in the last will and testa-
ment of George N. Flach, late of Baltimore city, deceased, of
one thousand dollars, to "The Redemptorists, " a body corpo-
rate.
Fifth. To the bequest contained in the last will and testa-
ment of said George N. Flach to the "Governing Authorities
of the Roman Catholic Church at Geiser, Saxe-Weimar
Germany; " said will being of record in the Register of Wills
office of Baltimore city.
