CHAPTER 620.
AN ACT to refund to John W. Cable, Collector of State
Taxes for Washington County, money erroneously paid by
him into the State Treasury.

|
|
Warrant to
be issued.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Comptroller of the Treasury be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to issue his warrant upon the
Treasurer of said State, in favor of John W. Cable, collector
of State taxes for Washington county, for the sum of four
hundred and forty-five dollars and eighty-three cents ($445.83),
for money erroneously paid by him into the State treasury, the
same having received the recommendation of the treasury
officials as follows, for the year 1897.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 621.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Chapter 376
of the Acts of 1898, entitled "An Act to regulate the drawing
of the jury in Baltimore County, so far as the same relates to
the twelfth, fourteenth and fifteenth election districts of said
County," and to repeal all that portion of Article 51, Sec-
tion 8 of the Code of Public General Laws of the State of
Maryland inconsistent herewith, eo that the said Act as
amended shall regulate the drawing of the jury in the first,
third, eighth, ninth, twelfth and fifteenth districts of said
county, and to repeal so much of the said Public General
Laws as are inconsistent therewith.

Repeal and
re-enact.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That chapter 376 of the Acts of 1898, entitled "An
Act to regulate the drawing of the jury in Baltimore county,
so far as the same relates to the twelfth, fourteenth and
fifteenth election districts of said county," and to repeal all
that portion of Article 51, Section 8 of the Code of Public
General Laws of the State of Maryland inconsistent herewith,
be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amend-
ments, so that the said Act as amended shall regulate the
drawing of the jury in the first, third, eighth, ninth, twelfth
and fifteenth districts of said county, and to repeal so much
of the said Public General Laws as are inconsistent there-
with.
